Sorry the bit about pre-composing is a little too fast, I fix that in future videos! You need to pre-compose your clip otherwise it will apply the timewarp effect to the whole clip and not just the part you've cut out. Alternately you could add a keyframe at the very start that has the speed set to 100% which will also fix the issue x
Please note that if you use clips that are too fast, the result won't be good. I'm sorry, that's just how it is.
