I Let an AI Edit My Video Timeline for me - Davinci Resolve Intelliscript Workflow
Most people don't know that DaVinci Resolve Studio (version 20+) allows you to edit video using a text editor. Today, I'm taking it a step further by using Google Gemini to do the heavy lifting.
I show you how to turn a messy, rambling recording into a cohesive video just by asking Gemini to edit the transcript.
The Prompt I Used: "Please edit this transcript. Use only the words available in this transcript to create a cohesive story. Make it interesting for YouTube. You can remove and omit what is unnecessary, but Do not change the wording as it will be used to cut the clips."
Key Tips:
• Use the "Thinking Model" in Gemini for the best output.
• Save your file as a .txt or .docx.
• Watch out for clips cutting off the last bits of words; you may need to extend them slightly using Trim Edit Mode (T),.
