Today, I will show you how to add Alt Text and do accessibility checks in Canva.
Accessible design helps screen reading tools describe images, photos, or graphics to visually impaired readers. It also allows search engines to better crawl and rank your content.
Here’s how you do it!
1/ Once you’ve created your design in Canva then, right-click any image or graphic components and select Alternative Text.
2/ Type in a written description of the visual.
3/ After you’ve done this, then go to File - Settings - Check Design Accessibility.
Here, it will show you if your Typography, color contrast, and alternative text are compliant.
