How to | Text Reveal | Final Cut Pro X
Here is a quick edit showing how you can reveal/hide text from behind an object. I use the 'Draw Mask' effect in Final Cut Pro. Essentially what you are doing is 'Masking(hiding)' or 'unmasking(revealing)' the text(title). By watching the edit, you can see how simple it can be.
