POP ART
Pop Art was an artistic movement that emerged in England and the United States in the 1950s and 1960s, at a time when the world was experiencing a consumerist's paradise. Advertising and mass culture were major inspirations for the artistic production of this movement, whose icons included artists Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein.
