Spice Girls get some wheels under them
If you thought that you had witnessed every Spice Girl merchandising deal possible, then think again. The world's most successful all-girl group have just joined forces with the Italian makers of a brand of scooters to launch their own range of powered bikes. The
deal is with the trendy scooter manufacturers Aprilia. The company's top manager Mr Beggio was on hand to introduce the "Feisty Five" on stage at the official press launch.
The event was merely a photo-opportunity but naturally Geri Spice could not pass up the chance to explain some of the complex theories behind her group's all encompassing Girl Power message. Worringly, she also told the packed hall of journalists that what the Spice Girls did was art and that they were all artists.
