It has been 6 months since the appearance of the Jewelpet of Independence, Kaiya.
How she ends up fighting Metal Sonic: After the events of Season 1 EP 26,
Kaiya already made the Phantom Herb Thieves betray Diana and follow their own path. But she remembers that Dr Eggman and his long-lived creation, Metal Sonic was still working for the dark Jewelpet. Later on, Kaiya by herself spotted Metal going after Rinko, Ruby, their Friends, and most importantly, Sonic the Hedgehog. (He is a Jewelpet now) Kaiya realizes that Eggman was responsible for the creation of Sonic's robotic doppelganger. He told Metal to bring Rinko, Ruby and That blue rat back to Diana. But the Mistake that Kaiya made is trying to have Metal betray its creator. thinking that even machines can be redeemed. BAD IDEA.
