For several days, the Telekom exchange in Weinstadt-Beutelsbach was a hive of activity. Telekom technicians were installing new network equipment and laying countless fiber optic cables. They had to weld the ultra-thin fiber optic cables together thousands of times. All this was in preparation for a network expansion partnership with the Weinstadt municipal utilities.
