GPU upgrade. How its done ? Does it work ? What GPU can be upgraded ?
Upgrade will give very little to no performance boots for games.
The only good reason to update memory is for CAD, Video production or AI use.
Can older cards be upgraded ?
Yes. Same concept. 512mb to 1GB chips upgrade is possible on older GTX cards such as GTX750 (i think) but not 1080 or 1080ti as far as i know.
Upgrade will cost labor plus memory chips which are not getting any cheaper these days, so 90% of the time it makes no sense to upgrade.
