2020 saw turbulent social and political movements across the African continent and the globe. Unprecedented movements, including #EndSARS to #ShutItAllDown, reflected diverse calls for change. The grassroots movement panel discusses how we can apply these lessons in 2021, and onwards for the challenges that lie ahead. Each panellist represents a prominent grassroots movement on the continent, discussing its purpose, impact and untapped alliances.
