Per request from my good friend felix, I made this vid. explaining the basics of Russian grammar. It's very simplified, but hopefully it gives you a basic understanding, and a desire to delve into the language yourself!

There are literally HUNDREDS of superb Russians songs, this is just a smattering. Also Russians put an accustic guitar to poems sometimes, and the result is beautiful, these are two examples from the famous soviet New Year's Eve film: The Irony of Fate, or Enjoy Your Bath. The movie is full of great songs:
