Hello Everyone!
In this video, we have some examples of numerical expressions with the four operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) and the associated symbols (parentheses, brackets, and curly braces). In numerical expressions, we should perform the operations in the following order:
1) multiplication and/or division;
2) addition and/or subtraction.
If there are associated symbols (parentheses, brackets, and curly braces), we should proceed as follows:
1) Solve the calculations within the parentheses, following the above order of operations;
2) Solve the calculations within the brackets, following the above order of operations;
3) Solve the calculations within the curly braces, following the above order of operations.
