Recently in preparation to launch the early demo for "Surviving Ceres", I have been in a loop of building, testing, tweaking, fixing, building, and re-testing. So, I decided to record one of my runs for anyone curious about what the early gameplay looks like.
The demo contains some placeholder visuals, sfx, huds, and vfx. It does however have a large chunk of early game mechanics and systems. As a solo dev I can not afford to work in silence, I need to get players in as soon as possible to start generating feedback. Players are my QA team and my creative team, and they play a critical role in the development of the game. While using player feedback and ideas to improve the game I will continue to add additional content and finalized visuals.
