Why is reddit down
In response to Reddit's decision to increase their API prices to an extreme amount, third party app developers have decided to shut down, and in response to this multiple redditors, subreddits, and reddit mods have decided to protest the decision.
On June 12th multiple large and small subreddits are going private and will not be able to be seen on reddit.com. Redditors hope this display will help stop or amend reddit's decisions which have forced out a lot of third party app developers.
