For the first time ever, they’ve captured truly stunning footage of a marbled cat (Pardofelis marmorata) roaming freely in one of the community-protected areas. This is the same region where local villagers proudly unveiled a statue honoring this elusive beauty. As Dr. Jim Sanderson, the world’s foremost expert on small wild cats said, “One of two cats I have never seen dead or alive.” That speaks volumes about how rare and special this sighting truly is.
