Jacob -- [laughs] girl you have no idea what you are getting yourself into
Leah -- let me go! [pulls away from him]
Logan -- Hey! [walks over] what's your problem!
Jacob -- I didn't have one until you showed up
Logan -- [pulls Leah away from Jacob, puts her behind his back] Leave my sister alone
Jacob -- or what
Logan -- [takes a stop closer to him] or you're going to have to deal with me
Jacob -- [glances at Leah for a second, then shakes his head and walks away]
Logan -- [turns around to face Leah] are you okay?
Leah -- [nods]
Logan -- Well I can see why you hate that guy
Leah -- [smiles a bit] so you're on my side?
Logan -- yeah, come on let's get the ice cream and get out of here [walks over to the place where they order]
Leah -- [follows him]
LATER
Leah -- [eating her ice cream, walks into the house] Daddy! We're home!
Logan -- [walks in behind her] don't tell him that
Leah -- [rolls her eyes]
Mr. Tyler -- [walks in] How's the ice cream?
Leah -- really good. Want some [holds it out]
Mr. Tyler -- and get a cavity from one bite. I think I'll pass
Leah -- [shrugs] your loss [keeps eating the ice cream]
Mr. Tyler -- Logan can I talk to you for a minute?
Logan -- didn't you talk enough before?
Mr. Tyler -- Logan!
Logan -- okay fine! [follows his dad into the kitchen]
Mr. Tyler -- [begins to make a sandwich] I have the maid setting up a room for you
Logan -- You didn't have to mess with my room. I only left a few weeks ago
Mr. Tyler -- well I didn't expect you back
Logan -- I'm not staying in the guest room, I'll crash in Leah's room
Mr. Tyler -- that might actually be better
Logan -- what? You hated when Leah and I shared a room
Mr. Tyler -- you didn't see her while you were gone. She was a completely different person. She wouldn't talk, she barely ate and all she did was ride that stupid horse
Logan -- Leah loves riding
Mr. Tyler -- I know, but that doesn't mean I like her riding
Logan -- see this is your problem! You try to control everything we do! If anyone does something you don't like you can't handle it!
Mr. Tyler -- that's not true.
Logan -- it is true! Everything has to be on your terms. Why do you think I wanted nothing to do with your stupid business! [walks out]
Mr. Tyler -- Logan!
Logan -- [ignores him, goes over to Leah] I'm heading out for a bit, you going to be okay?
Leah -- yeah...where are you going?
Logan -- just a drive, I'll be back later
Leah -- promise?
Logan -- I promise [kisses her head] I'll see you in a bit [walks out]
Leah -- [sighs, goes outside and into the stables] Kyle? I need you to saddle up Shadow for me... [looks around] Kyle?
Kyle -- [walks over] sorry, I was just cleaning up
Leah -- it's okay...why were you cleaning?
Kyle -- I had to pack up some of my stuff
Leah -- why?
Kyle -- because I got a great job opportunity...across the country
Leah -- you can't just leave! Who will take care of the horses?
Kyle -- your dad is hiring someone new. Don't worry; I'll stick around until the new guy shows up
Leah -- good. Do you have to leave?
Kyle -- sorry kid, I can't pass this up. I'll come and visit tho
Leah -- you better [walks further into the stables, and over to Shadow]
Kyle -- you heading out for a ride?
Leah -- Yeah, I need to get out of here
Kyle -- be careful on those trails, they are a bit slippery from the rain last night. Very muddy. [begins to saddle up the horse]
Leah -- [goes to the back of the stable and changes into her riding clothes, putting her new expensive boots somewhere safe] I'm always careful
Kyle -- I know you are [leads the horse outside]
Leah -- [follows him] fill the new guy in on how I like things done will you? [gets on the horse]
Kyle -- of course
Leah -- thanks [rides down towards the entrance to the trails]
