Intermittent periods of unsettled weather will continue across the islands today as upper level troughing and ample tropical moisture continue to support scattered showers and thunderstorms in the area. Localized flooding is possible in low-lying flood-prone areas during heavy or prolonged rainfall events.
These conditions are expected to continue throughout the weekend. Weather conditions will support the generation of intermittent periods of strong thunderstorms and/or heavy showers through Saturday. Keep an umbrella handy and take caution when driving on wet roads.
