Dear colleagues!
🤓Today we would like to talk about the conference "Hematuria in Cats: From Symptom to Treatment" (https://www.eduvet.ru/catalog/element..., which took place on March 26, 2020.
🩸"Bloody urine" – how often does a veterinarian encounter this complaint? At least daily, and sometimes several times a day. There was a time when all patients with this complaint were prescribed No-Spa, Analgin, and Amoxiclav.
But now we know much more:
✔️ Bloody urine does not necessarily mean cystitis
✔️ Cystitis does not necessarily require antibiotics
✔️ Pain cannot always be relieved with Analgin
✔️Speaker topics: "Hematuria: One Symptom, Different Causes. Common Types of Feline Urolithiasis," "Let's Discuss Indications for Antibiotic Use in Cats with Cystitis Symptoms," "A Convenient Tool for Monitoring Microhematuria," "Idiopathic Cystitis in Felines – It's Not So Mysterious," "The World Through the Eyes of Cats. Behavioral Disorders and Their Correction," "Basic Analgesics." Remember that cystitis is also painful," "How are we going to save a cat with a urethral obstruction?"
📎 Teachers: Natalia Prokofieva, Natalia Redkina, Alexandra Aleksandrova, Nadezhda Krutitskaya, Anastasia Shabrova.

(https://www.eduvet.ru/catalog/element...) ❗️We now invite you to watch the introductory lecture "Overview of the Causes of Hematuria in Cats" by Natalia Prokofieva, a nephrologist at the White Fang Clinic. Owners often come to their pets with complaints such as blood in the urine, altered urination posture, and frequent urination. Natalia will explain what to avoid in such cases, the minimum necessary tests, and which animals are at risk. We'll examine specific clinical cases.👣
