Shalom, everyone. Because I have received much more negative feedback than expected for this video, I was tempted to take it down and change it, but instead I decided to state some things to clarify any misunderstandings:
This video is not political in any way. I have absolutely no political affiliation, and I am not backing one political party or financial system over another, nor am I seeking to bash one system or another. In this video I am merely attempting to go over whether the worldly systems that we live in (not just here, but around the world) line up with our responsibilities as people who love God and His Kingdom as outlined in His word. We are not each others' enemies. Using God's word to make a better world should not be about who is right and who is wrong. My whole point is that we can work together instead of fighting each other and find what is good in others (and other ways of doing things) and focus on that. Isn't that scriptural? "Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things." Philippians 4:8. Yeshua pointed out when the leaders in His nation were not doing right, so I do not feel like it is wrong to point out how our history does not line up with the Scriptures. The goal, however, is not merely to point fingers, but to repent and do what is right. Our focus should be on loving God and loving our neighbor, and beyond that there is nothing else to say. Many blessings and prayers for you all, this nation, and the world. Shalom.
P.S. I also want to correct a huge mistake - Ancient Babylon is located in modern-day Iraq, not in Iran like I mentioned in the video. It has been fixed in the subtitles. Sorry about that! 😔
