In the video "Tutorial on How to Polish Teak Wood with a Clear Glossy PU Finish" on teak furniture like this Minimalist Teak Dining Table, I used Danagloss PU Flash Clear, a polyurethane finishing material from Danagloss, a Danapaint product, combined with PU Autoglow thinner from Pacific Paint.
I applied Impra Melamine to the base and middle structure, starting with sealing the wood pores with Impra 115 teak woodfiller.
Then, I applied Impra Melamine Sanding Sealer MSS 124 to seal the wood pores. I also mixed the wood stain with Impra 162B walnut brown wood stain.
Meanwhile, I use Propan Danagloss PU Flash Clear as the outermost layer or topcoat, which protects the finishing structure underneath and determines the final appearance of teak wood furniture, resulting in a shiny or glossy finish.
In this tutorial on how to polish teak wood with PU Clear Glossy Finish, I don't follow the standard instructions from the Propan Melamine Impra manufacturer or Danapaint Danagloss PU Flash Clear.
Instead, I use a series of finishing structures derived from my own research over several years, adapting them to my tools, work site conditions, and my daily routine. To achieve a smooth, even, glossy, and optimal melamine finish, Danagloss PU Flash Clear is ideal.
