What's the point of writing tests?
To have confidence in our ability to deliver changes in our software.
That's it. That's the post.
There's no universal best type of test or best way to test. So despite what's feeling forced upon you, try to consider the approaches that will work well for you (and your team) to have confidence in delivering changes.
