Black finish with solid basswood blades. Manufactured in the late 1920s-early 1930s. Has a 3-speed pullchain snapswitch. The blades are not original to the fan, they came from a Delco; at some point, I believe two fans accidentally had their blade sets mixed up. The motor shaft is a bit worn, so it requires SAE-30 oil to avoid the cyclic flux buzz associated with the issue; however, the motor shaft on this fan is easily removable (it's held in by a setscrew, it threads out).. and thus, replaceable. Performance is excellent, as expected. The speed coil actually does kind of work to provide secondary speeds; it's essentially medium, high, and tornado mode.
