Welcome To The Team, Tabatha Ricci
Tabatha Ricci grew up in Birigui, Brazil, where sports like judo and jiu-jitsu are in the national spotlight. Her fighting style's always been persistent, even when she first started throwing punches at just six years old. Tabatha punches up. Like a Great White pursuing its prey, she’s constantly prodding, circling, and looking for weaknesses before making her strike. You can see how her nickname, “Baby Shark,” makes a decent amount of sense. She’s naturally gravitated toward Mixed Martial Arts, and had her first professional MMA debut came before her eighteenth birthday. To date, the humble strawweight has amassed a 7-1 professional record.
When she’s not fighting, Tabatha spends her time teaching Jiu-Jitsu at Paragon Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu on the Central Coast. She’s stoked to call the 805 her home now, and we’re stoked to announce her as our newest Authentico. She’s a humble champion who’s grateful for everything she’s achieved, and we couldn’t be more stoked to have her be a part of the 805 crew. Now, let's get things going.
