TBC - Edit Linestring - Field Data Edition Commands
The edit linestring command is an extension of the edit command, allowing users to modify line objects by converting them into linestrings. Users can select any line, whether a polyline or CAD line, and access the edit linestring command to adjust segment properties. The command offers various functionalities, such as inserting new start points, adding or removing segments, and modifying coordinates or elevations. For instance, users can change a line's elevation by selecting a point, entering a new elevation, and saving the changes. The command also supports undoing actions with Control Z. Additional features include adding points after the last segment, inserting points before a current segment, and auto-closing the linestring. Users can reverse segment directions, set line elevations, break lines, and join lines within the edit linestring dialog box. These capabilities provide a comprehensive set of tools for editing and managing linestrings effectively.
