Redirecting your Topology in Modo
Making sure your mesh has good topology and edgeflow is important, as it makes the mesh easier to edit, prevents pinching when the mesh is deformed, and makes sure that surfaces are rendered properly.
In this quick tip video, Modo Hero William Vaughan shows you how to redirect your edge flow in two ways. The first method uses Modo’s diagonal redirect command. The second shows you how to redirect your edge flow manually using the edge split and spike tools. The result? Perfect topology and edge flow every time!
