This is my perfect Turkey recipe, it is always the center of attention in my house...my kitchen smells beautiful of herbs, lemon and orange, it will be your best turkey, I hope you enjoy it.
INGREDIENTS FOR BUTTER
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 1/2 tsp paprika
salt (to your liking)
pepper (to your liking)
5 crushed garlic cloves
zest of 1 lemon
1 golden delicious apple
1 onion (cut into big pieces)
1/2 orange peel (finely minced)
1 & 1/2 sticks butter
1 TBSP chopped fresh rosemary
1 TBSP chopped fresh thyme
1 13 lb. turkey
INGREDIENTS FOR INSIDE TURKEY
1 Onion cut into big pieces
1 golden delicious apple (cut into big pieces)
5 garlic cloves (crushed)
1 celery rib (cut in half)
1 sprig of sage
1 sprig of rosemary
1 sprig of thyme
piece of twine to tie legs together
