What's New in Minecraft 1.9 Pre-release 4?
Today Mojang released Minecraft 1.9 Pre-release 4 - a snapshot pre-release for the Combat Update - Minecraft 1.9. This update contains bug fixes to command selectors, nether portals and damage.

If you want to play this pre-release, edit your profile in the minecraft launcher and check the "use development versions (snapshots)" checkbox. Keep in mind that snapshots are unstable - they can break your world if you are unlucky - keep backups!
