The Great Philippine Eagle is endemic in the philippine forest, inhabited in rugged mountains. Highly desired to be seen by birdwatchers and also hunters because of its rarity.
Unfortunately, the Philippine eagle is a critically endangered species of eagle. Killing of its kind is a criminal offence and punishable by Law. To protect and boost up their population, the Philippine Eagle center primarily operates as a conservation breeding facility. The center has stunning tropical flora and fauna, plenty of birds like eagles and owls, they also have a lot of animals like monkeys, snakes, alligators and deer. It's the only place i know where you see the Philippine eagle up close, it's so magnificent!
