TVTA - OBS Automation Test
This was a test of an automation script written in Python for use with OBS. Every clip seen here was automated to start at a certain time. An example is below:
21:57:00 - Stream start
21:59:40 - Shut off test pattern, switch to 400 Hz tone, keep slate on-screen
21:59:48 - Start 10-second countdown (2 seconds of black before countdown), overlay on test pattern
21:59:58 - Fade slate to black, keep black on-screen for 2 seconds
22:00:00 - Start of program
The script worked great; however, the captions were not passed through due to an error on my part. I forgot to enable embedded 608 captions in the stream settings. The repeated test, however, did include captions, so that test was a success.
