Grammar - Forms of Verbs: Regular and Irregular Verbs / Present-Past-Past Participle
Regular Verbs form their past and past participle by adding -d or -ed in their present forms.
Irregular Verbs do not form their past and past participle by adding -d or -ed in their present forms. We change their spelling (or sometimes retain their spelling) to change them to their past and past participle form.
