I promise that after this video, you'll look at quantum mechanics differently, and maybe even understand something.

After all, modern science is completely changing our understanding of it.

For example, today, scientists can conduct a double-slit experiment with controlled collapse of the wave function, thereby forcing us to adjust all the most well-known interpretations of quantum mechanics.

Furthermore, this experiment is no longer performed with elementary particles like photons or electrons, but with real, enormous molecules consisting of several thousand atoms.

But what's astonishing is that in the near future, this number will grow to millions of atoms.

This dynamic makes us wonder: where is the real boundary between the quantum and classical worlds? Will we be able to scale quantum properties to the size of an animal or even a human?

In any case, quantum mechanics is already moving to a scale where gravity begins to have a significant influence. It is beginning to intertwine with the practically incompatible general theory of relativity.

This, in theory, expands the search for quantum gravity, but at the same time creates unacceptable situations, such as when different quantum states of an object create overlapping gravitational fields.

That is, spacetime itself will be in superposition.

And these aren't just some interpretations or hypotheses. This is a foreseeable scientific future, lying on the path of revolutionary scaling of modern quantum computers.

I understand that this may seem confusing and complicated at first. However, I will try to explain everything as clearly and simply as possible.

As always, there will be some tricky parts, but I'm sure you can handle it.

And to understand everything, we will answer the following questions:

What are wave functions and superposition?
What is quantum decoherence?
How is quantum mechanics related to gravity?
And finally, where is the boundary of the quantum world?
