Chris Kelly (@thatchriskelly) is a self-employed investor and consultant. He is the former Chief Privacy Officer at Facebook, a position he left to run for California Attorney General. He lost in the Democratic Primary to now-AG Kamala Harris. Prior to Facebook, Chris was the General Counsel, Corporate Secretary and Chief Privacy Officer at Spoke Software. He has also worked for Excite@Home as well as the law firms of Baker & Mckenzie and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. Chris currently sits on the boards of LOYAL3 and Fandor. Chris lives in Atherton, California.
