"Game Plan" Welcome Video for "Life Lessons Over Lunch" at CDC

■ Need: I coordinate the "Life Lessons Over Lunch" groups on four campuses of the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta. Every other Wednesday a group of us provide a free lunch and viewing of a "life lesson" from the DVD resources at North Point Community Church. At the time of this series (October 2012), we are averaging about 190 attendees total at all four CDC campuses. Before I greet everyone and start up the message video, I want to have some information about the luncheons up on the screen - for those eating and waiting for the message. Yet I don't want to use just a boring old PowerPoint style presentation. So I place the pages of information inside a 3D animation and have the "camera" move from page to page.
■ Technical Notes: I change things up in the animation every few months, to keep things fresh. Because the animation cycles through several times before I greet the crowd and start the message DVD, I have five different pieces of music that play in succeeding cycles. Unlike other similar videos in this profile, this is the full length version with pauses at each chalkboard. It was used for actual use at the luncheons. This version has the team song clips, blended in with the background music, as the camera passes each team's logo.
