Here I show you what is new in Kubuntu 14.10 release.
Kubuntu 14.10, codenamed "Utopic Unicorn," was a version of the Kubuntu Linux distribution released in October 2014. It was based on Ubuntu 14.10 and featured the KDE Plasma desktop environment as its default graphical user interface. Kubuntu 14.10 introduced the KDE Plasma desktop environment, providing users with a modern and visually appealing desktop experience. KDE Plasma offered a customizable desktop environment with features such as desktop widgets, a taskbar, a system tray, and a powerful file manager. Kubuntu 14.10 used the Ubuntu Software Center as the default graphical package manager for installing, removing, and updating software packages. Additionally, users could use the Muon Package Manager, a Qt-based graphical package manager specifically designed for KDE, to manage software packages and repositories. Kubuntu 14.10 had modest system requirements, making it suitable for a wide range of hardware configurations. The system recommended at least 1GB of RAM, a 1GHz processor, and 10GB of available hard disk space for installation.
