Peggy Martin Rose aka Katrina Rose See Descrition.
This is a Peggy Martin Rose me and wife started growing in Carencro, LA in May of 2021. I am not much of a gardener but my wife likes to grow flowers including roses. She had been looking for a climbing rose for a while when a friend told us a feed store in Breaux Bridge, LA had some Peggy Martin Roses in 1 quart containers for sale. We bought one and I did some research on them and saw what they were capable of growing to. So I built a 8 foot trellis in a above ground planter. My wife thought I was over doing it as usual. But as you will see from the pictures it took off and grew really well. After I built the trellis we did get 1 more 1 quart Peggy Martin Rose to put on the other side. We had to go to Baton Rouge to get it. As it was growing, I had to add on to the structure to make it more steady, There are no roses yet has it still young. The last pictures were taken in early November. I can't wait until spring when the roses should start to bloom, I will give a update when they do.
