Shore-based catfish fishing rig with an underwater float.
A catfish fishing rig. This bottom fishing rod with an underwater float is specially designed for fishing for catfish from the shore, in strong and moderate currents, and in still water.
The rig uses a braided leader, a cork underwater float (which prevents the live bait from sinking to the bottom and causing discomfort, forcing it to actively move), and two sharp Korean size 4 hooks. The rubber tube used in the rig keeps the hooks firmly separated from each other, thereby preventing empty bites and preventing the live bait from tangling the rig.
