Visualisation of X,Y,Z axes on accelerometer through serial link
This video demonstrates the use of the serial object functions in MATLAB. The accelerometer is connected to a PICAXE microprocessor which outputs the raw data to a PC serial port through a cable. The strings are inputted into MATLAB and processed and the value of the acceleration on each axis is displayed on an animated figure.
