New Scales for Benchmade Bugout! Flytanium Brass Scales!
Hello! Bit of a longer one today, but what we are doing is replacing the plastic scales that come on a Bugout with Flytanium Brass Scales! The scales weigh more than the knife! Too cool, this knife feels much better in the hand with the weight and sturdiness of the brass! It took a bit of time to do, but it wasn't too bad. Flytanium and other places make tools to help with assembly and disassembly of Benchmade Knives, but I don't have one, so I made do with a titanium toothpick/poker. I wouldn't recommend doing this if you aren't skilled with your hands, it was tricky even for me and I have done this a few times! Anyway, I hope you liked the knife and hope this assembly video helps you decide if you want to do it or not! The results are great, so I would say do it, but be careful again if you aren't handy.
