Building a quiet server for local LLMs in the office! In this video, we took powerful server hardware: an NVIDIA A100 80GB graphics card and a 32-core AMD EPYC processor, and installed them in an Antec Flux Pro Noctua Edition case. We'll show you how to make an AI server quiet enough for use in an office or apartment.

Components included:

Graphics card: NVIDIA A100 80GB
Processor: 32-core AMD EPYC
Motherboard: Supermicro H13SSL-N
Water-cooling system: SilverStone XE360-SP5
Cooling: Noctua fans and a custom adapter for the A100
Case: Antec Flux Pro Noctua Edition
Power supply: Seasonic Prime PX-1600

What tasks is this server suitable for?

Inference and local launch of neural networks: fast execution of large language models like DeepSeek, Qwen, and GLM, as well as generative text and graphic AI, without the cloud or internet.

AI agents for business: deployment of enterprise AI services and process automation.

Server for 1C and virtualization: high-speed 1C Enterprise database and stable operation under load.

In the video, we explore a way to quietly cool hot server components, demonstrate the assembly process, evaluate noise levels, and test a locally deployed QWEN 3.6-27B. We also demonstrate solutions that allow you to use server hardware in a case that you don't want to hide in a server rack)))
