Live Zwift racing!
Wondering how important rider weight is? Take a look at what happens when elite-level power gets divided over a few too many kilograms. For the uninitiated, cycling performance is a function of power, but as the road gradients increase a rider's performance becomes much more strongly correlated with the amount of power produced per unit of body weight—the watts per kilogram (w/kg). My numerator is pretty high, so the biggest area I have to improve comes from the denominator—I have a lot of room to get leaner, and this channel is one way I hold myself accountable and make progress on that. Until then, it's either me or my body weight—one of us is going to get dropped.
What's the bigger picture?
This channel is all about making progress in our hobbies and passions by creating good habits—make a plan, hold yourself accountable, and see how far you can go! For me, cycling and fitness are a couple of the things I want to improve on. When I go live, you can follow along as I work to build power and get lean by racing and training on Zwift! Let's see how much progress we can make with a Zwift habit!
