aka by rewrapping aka by remuxing aka by re-multiplexing...good lord :/

I'm still working on my beginner's tutorial. I do alot of backtracking every video already and the mere thought of repeating myself each video is really horrifying. Please understand. Or don't, life doesn't need understanding for you to succeed at it.

If you were wondering what the problem was in blender, I needed to toss a timecode on my video to display the proper sync. If you're wondering what the problem was in blender, I needed to toss a timecode on my video to display the proper sync. If you are wondering what the problem was in blender, forget there was a problem and pretend there's only a solution. You know what the endless 8 is? Well you commit to finding out, and watching all 8. That'll give you a full understanding of just how redneck this program is. If in doubt, whack it a few times.

I'm trying to make the videos shorter I really am. PLEASE BELIEVE ME!
There was a weird sync issue with my recording and blender...and it was weird. Thus there are ALOT of transitioned partitions to this, so the audio might be a bit off in some sections despite my efforts. Probably cause I didn't put a timecode on it, probably. If in doubt, blame the lack of timecodes. Infact I'm 95% sure that's what it was, I simply forget that generating a proxy wasn't just for weird stuff I get from online....its a requirement for any video I toss in blender.

Command List:
(for %i in (*.mkv) do @echo file '%i')
// angle brackets aren't allowed here, but we want a greater than sign pointing to the left and then...
mylist.txt
ffmpeg -f concat -safe 0 -i mylist.txt -map 0 -c copy output.mkv
ffmpeg -ss 00:10:00 -i input -to 00:05:00 -c copy output

For the brave and bold:
ffprobe........zzzzzzzzzzzzz
Angle brackets aren't allowed I forgot. I'll post the ffprobe command some other day, for now you get to be automatically brave AND bold by technicality. congratz, defaulting is the gift that keeps on giving.

Related Repeats Section:
ffmpeg -i input.mkv //findout what the hell is in ur video so u know what conversions to do
ffmpeg -i input.mkv -c copy output.mkv
-r 30 // input ur fps, i.e. 30. Use integers. Used if you need to correct metadata/fps
-map 0 copies over all the streams of the video to the new output, sub files for ex.
ffmpeg -i video.mkv -vf subtitles=subtitle.srt output.mkv //see last video
ffmpeg -i video.mkv -vf subtitles=video.mkv output.mkv
types of streams: a, v, s, d, t
-c copy
-c:a copy
-c:s copy
-c:v copy
copy
aac
pcm_s16le
ffmpeg -i input.mkv -c:v copy -c:a aac -b:a 384k -dither_method rectangular -ar 48000 output.mkv
// lol I'm jking. It's a pointlessly scarey command. -ar is just the standard 48khz recording thing if you wanted to set it, u very likely don't, and dither_method is likely 0 change whatsoever unless you are using low bitrates. nothing worth noting there rly except that I like high bitrates :)

Beginner's Checklist:
-No spaces in ur filenames, otherwise put them in "". ie. "windows like spaces and its stupid".mkv
-ifyou didn't setup paths, make sure u have the .exe of ffmpeg/ffplay/ffprobe whatever ur using in teh same folder.
-if sync issues are a problem make sure ur fps isnt' changing when you do a command whatever it may be copy or re-encode with -i input.mkv

Declarations of Independence:

I'm looking for voice actors! If interested in va'ing for fanmade projects (nothing paid atm), or know anyone who is, please contact me via one of the following sites. I'd then email you in the future asking if you'd like to be apart of x,y,z projects as they appear. And you just pass if you aren't interested or are too busy, and I'll try you at the next time etc. It's pretty laid back, I just want to create a larger network to accomodate schedules better.
