Swapping the Subaru Legacy EJ22 engine for an EJ20, DIY project
This 1995 Subaru Legacy 4x4 automatic has an original EJ22 engine with a slight knocking sound in the cylinder head caused by extreme overheating due to a radiator failure. According to the driver at the time, he ran over a capybara and continued driving the car for several kilometers, causing the engine to overheat. However, the engine is still in good condition, but I will have to remove the cylinder head for maintenance, but I will only do that next year. For now, I will replace it with an EJ20.
