In a departure from my usual kind of music, 'Maximum Hyperdrive' is in fact a soundtrack piece (a segue if you will) and is available to download/stream on Bandcamp!
Taken from music I wrote and recorded for an animated short, each part of the piece was written to sit comfortably and reflect the visuals happening at that particular moment.
Instead of editing the various themes into separate pieces, I though it would be interesting to keep it in its entirety, as originally composed.
Musically, it's multi inspired - from the film directer John Carpenter's self-created soundtracks to AC/DC!
