Boris Mayorov | From Shiryaevo Pole to the 1962 Championship | A Major Historical Interview | Par...
Boris Aleksandrovich Mayorov is a global figure: six World Championship gold medals (1963-1968), two Olympic gold medals (Innsbruck 1964 and Grenoble 1968), and three USSR Ice Hockey Championship gold medals with Spartak Moscow (1962, 1967, and 1969).
Is this a podcast? No. This is a first-person biography of the great red-and-white journey, with comments and historical photos. Boris Aleksandrovich is strict, sometimes stern, and very professional.
The conversation is divided into two parts. This first part tells the story of Boris Aleksandrovich's childhood in Sokolniki, a historic Spartak site, the history of Spartak sports, and the 1962 championship.
Don't forget to subscribe so you don't miss the second part.
Also at the microphones: Artem Mochalov and Evgeny Turkulets.
