Snap to Face Center in Blender - Tutorial
There's no direct tool to snap an object to the center of a face. This method is not very-well known, yet it's quite useful and quick.

Certainly Blender should have a tool to do this directly, but until then, this is a great and efficient way to snap an object to the center of any face in Blender.
