De paseo por Madrid: Madrid Río, navegando por el río Manzanares (1)

Hemos grabado este video el día 12 de octubre sobre el mediodía. Fue un día estupendo de principio de otoño, con una temperatura de 17 grados celsius. A lo largo del recorrido hubo mucha gente haciendo deporte, niños jugando con sus padres, aprendiendo montar en bici. La fauna típica del río Mazanares nos acompañó a lo largo de estos casi 2 km.
Madrid Río es uno de los grandes parques de Madrid y uno de los más nuevos, ya que fue levantado hace menos de una década gracias al soterramiento de la autovía M-30. Recorre ambas márgenes del río Manzanares, desde el Puente de los Franceses hasta el antiguo Matadero.
Debido a la longitud del parque (10 kilómetros), hemos decidido dividir la grabación en tres partes para facilitar la visualización. En esta primera parte hemos grabado el inicio en el Puente de los Franceses hasta Príncipe Pío.
Empezamos este vídeo en el Puente de los Franceses, por donde pasan los trenes de Cercanías. Siguiendo la corriente del río, avanzamos hacia el sur, encontrándonos con una de las presas que tiene el Manzanares (la presa número 3). Más adelante veremos varias pasarelas y el Puente de la Reina Victoria, mientras que en el río se pueden observar varias islas que se han desarrollado con la naturalización del río. Ya en el final del vídeo, llegando a Príncipe Pío, veremos, además de la estación homónima, la Puerta de San Vicente y en lo alto el Palacio Real. Además, aquí Madrid Río se une con el parque más grande de Madrid: la Casa de Campo.

We filmed this video on the 12th of October around noon. It was a great day in early autumn, with a temperature of 17 degrees Celsius. Along the way there were many people doing sports, children playing with their parents, learning to ride a bike. The typical fauna of the river Mazanares accompanied us along these almost 2 km.
Madrid Rio is one of the largest parks in Madrid and one of the newest, as it was built less than a decade ago thanks to the underground M-30 motorway. It runs along both banks of the Manzanares River, from the Puente de los Franceses to the old Matadero.
Due to the length of the park (10 kilometers), we have decided to divide the video into three parts to facilitate viewing. In this first part we have filmed the beginning in the Bridge of the French until Prince Pius.
We started this video on the Puente de los Franceses where the Cercanías trains pass. Following the current of the river, we advance toward the south, meeting with one of the dams that has the Manzanares (the dam number 3). Later we will see several footbridges and the Queen Victoria Bridge, while in the river you can see several islands that have developed with the naturalization of the river. Already at the end of the video, arriving at Príncipe Pio, we will see, in addition to the station of the same name, the Gate of San Vicente and on top of the Royal Palace. In addition, here Madrid Rio joins the largest park in Madrid: the Casa de Campo.
