My name is Chu Tieu Lan. I am a single mother raising my child on my own.
In the beginning, I didn’t even have a stable place to live. I stayed in an abandoned house. During that time, I worked every day while taking care of my child, saving and putting aside every little bit for two years.
But one day, the owner decided to sell the house, and I had no choice but to leave.
After everything, I used the money that I had worked so hard to earn and save during that time to look for a small piece of land for the two of us. Step by step, I began building a home with my own hands.
This is my full journey — from having nowhere to go, to finally building a place we can call home.
