When most people think of Japan, they picture the crowds, neon lights, and fast-paced city life of Tokyo. But there's a completely different side to this country. In this video, I went to Wazuka village near Kyoto and experienced rural life in Japan up close.
This is one of Japan's most important tea-producing regions. Nestled among the mountains, it's a truly postcard-perfect place with miles of lush green tea plantations. It's very different from the modern Japan we're used to seeing in the city; life here flows slower, calmer, and more intertwined with nature.
I tried to show you many details firsthand, from the village's livelihood to their daily lives, from their cemetery culture to their agricultural practices. I think this will be a very different episode for those who want to see that Japan is not just about big cities. ________________________________________________________________________

Seeing this side outside the cities introduced me to Japan in a slightly different way. I hope you experience the same feeling while watching. Enjoy watching, friends 🇯🇵🍵
