An instructional practice stream on how to setup live streaming on a mac with YouTube. We have 2 Logitech C930 cameras, an ESI 86XT audio interface, a Propellerheads Balance audio interface, a couple hardware instruments, a lavalier mic, and a software DAW (Bitwig studio). The whole mess is controlled with a Sensel Morph, of course.
NOTES:
• The audio settings for Bitwig are set to use the ESI 86XT as the interface - just as I would as if I was not streaming. Just think of the me ESI 86XT as a mixer. You could, in fact, put all your audio through a multiple input mixer and then stereo out from that into a 2-input audio interface.
• The USB setup is a bit finicky too. I have two USB C docks (aka USB C hubs - allows multiple types of connections [USB, HDMI, SD card, etc] ) connected to the Mac. I split up the Logitech C930 cameras to be on separate USB docks, and I split the two audio interfaces to the separate USB docks. Otherwise, things did not work well.
