Model Stationary Steam Engine
I built this Stationary Steam Plant in 2001 and it ran for the first time on 13th October of that year.
Except for the Boiler fittings and Burner it is entirely hand built.
The 105mm x 200mm copper boiler is silver soldered and is gas fired.
The engine has 3'' dia flywheel made from a section of 3'' iron pipe and is powered by a single oscillating cylinder with a 2" stroke x ½'' bore.
